1. telecommunication n. 电信，远距离通信
请注意这个词的构成，tele-是一个前缀，意思是远，远距离。用tele-为前缀构成的词不少，如：television（电视）， telegram（电报） ，telegraph（电报机；发电报） ，telephone（电话），telescope（望远镜）等。

broadcast可以做规则动词用（-ed），也可以做不规则动词用。（过去时，过去分词与动词原形一致。）
